Stonewards Release Date & Console Status
Stonewards launched into Steam Early Access on August 11, 2026 at $9.99 USD, Windows only. Console searches are running well ahead of reality: as of September 1, 2026 the studio has announced no Xbox, PlayStation, Switch or mobile version, and its own four-phase roadmap does not mention one.

When did Stonewards come out?
Stonewards entered Steam Early Access on August 11, 2026. Before that, a free demo ran from June 2 to July 11, 2026, and the game was first revealed on April 3, 2026.
Is Stonewards coming to Xbox or PS5?
Nothing has been announced. The Early Access roadmap the studio published on August 11, 2026 covers Late Summer 2026 through Q2 2027 and lists maps, characters, skins, crafting and fishing — no console port appears on any of the four phases.
When is the Stonewards 1.0 full release?
No 1.0 date has been given. The published roadmap runs to Q2 2027 and still ends with "more bug fixes, polish, and improvements", so Early Access is planned to continue at least that far.
Is the Stonewards demo still available?
No. The studio removed the Steam demo on July 11, 2026, explaining that the game had moved on and a two-person team could not maintain the demo and the Early Access build at the same time.
